DVD “In Scotland, Macbeth has served as a leader of King Duncan’s army and has been named the Thane of Cawdor as his reward. While on the battlefield, he comes across three witches who promise that he shall one day become King. Telling his wife of this news, she begins plotting regicide and encourages her husband to bring about this sooner rather than later. Macbeth follows her plan and frames two servants for the King’s murder before assuming the throne. Soon after, both of the Macbeths’ guilt begin leading them down a spiraling series of events that ultimately cause their doom.
